Job Description

At insightsoftware, we are looking for a talented Renewal Specialist to join our growing team.

Job Summary

The Renewal Specialist will be responsible for proactively working with Renewals Managers to renew customer software maintenance agreements and subscriptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Renewal Offers: Create renewal offers/quotes based on contract information, customer usage, and company direction.
  • Customer Communication: Deliver renewal offers/quotes on time to appropriate customer contacts.
  • Forecasting: Report and maintain an accurate forecast; manage renewal forecasting meetings and collaboration activities for designated account portfolio.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with guidance from relevant internal departments and management.
  • Order Processing: Process renewal orders.
  • Crm Management: Maintain and update account information in CRM.
  • Customer Health: Update customer health information when applicable based on negotiation and discussions with the customer.
  • Expansion Opportunities: Refer potential opportunities for expansion to our Sales team.
  • Customer Feedback: Share customer feedback with appropriate internal departments including but not limited to Customer Success, Support, and Management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience in Renewals Management or Account Management in the software industry.
  • Crm Knowledge: Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce: The Customer Company.
  • Contract Knowledge: Knowledge and experience reviewing and comprehending contract terms, preferably in software.
  • Autonomous Role: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a highly autonomous role with strong organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
