Senior Proposal Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Proposal Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end proposal process, from qualification to contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Managers, Technical Directors, and Account Managers to develop value propositions/strategies, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, competitive landscapes, and risk management.
  • In cooperation with Technical Directors and Business Organizations:
    • Pre-sales and ensure offers and project references readiness.
    • Anticipate next major RFI/RFP and associated risks.
    • Support coordination (BU, TD, and Global Pre-sales), define and follow action plans for major RFI/RFP.
    • Support new business strategy and development.
    • Support preparation of documents required for bids.
    • Proposal Management.
    • Support Business Managers and Technical Directors in using CRM tools during the bid process.
    • Support qualification of businesses and strategies to answer.
    • Support preparation and organization of Go/NoGo-Bid/NoBid meetings.
    • Ensure group offers are best utilized and maximize the value of ALTEN proposals.
    • Support Business Managers in coordinating bid teams (technical, business, legal, quality, center of expertise, partners).
    • Check the quality of offers and financial forms prior to offer reviews.
    • Store information on CRM tools (except documents stored by Business Managers during offer reviews).
    • Organize and attend offer review meetings.
    • Perform lessons learned analysis for each Contract For Tender.
    • Analyze risks for each bid and alert BU/Management/TD as required.
    • Perform transversal activities and capitalize best practices, offers, and templates to maximize win rates and reuse.
    • Explain and enforce the proposal process, method, and tools.
