We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our crisis response efforts. As Crisis Response Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's vision and strategic direction are met.
- You will define and manage processes to meet requirements for Information Systems services by planning, measuring, and improving all aspects of IS services.
- Initial Assessment: Assess the situation to determine the nature, scope, and severity of the incident, gathering information about affected systems and identifying potential impact on operations, data integrity, and security.
- Activation of Response Plan: Activate the IT crisis response plan, alerting key stakeholders, assembling an incident response team, and initiating predefined steps for containment, mitigation, and recovery.
- Containment and Mitigation: Work to contain the spread of the IT crisis by isolating affected systems, disabling compromised accounts or services, and implementing temporary workarounds to minimize further damage.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for communicating updates, instructions, and guidance to relevant stakeholders, including IT staff, management, customers, and vendors.
- Technical Resolution: Leverage technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to diagnose underlying issues causing the IT crisis, analyzing system logs, conducting forensic investigations, and performing root cause analysis.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT discipline.
- +8 years in IT applications/services or similar, with 5 years of experience in major/high severity management (documented).
- Certifications required: ITIL 4 Foundation. Certifications preferred: ITIL advanced certifications.
