The Technical Lead will oversee day-to-day software engineering projects and lead a team of developers. This role involves managing engineers, delivering on commitments to stakeholders, and collaborating with architects on major organizational initiatives across multiple channels & platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Software Engineering Standards, Processes, and Tools
  • Facilitating Consistency of Service Delivery Across Teams
  • Communicating Important Software Engineering Policy Changes
  • Managing Day-To-Day Relationships with Engineers
  • Overseeing Effective Reporting within Software Development Team

Works with Software Developers:

  • Validating Developer Performance
  • Facilitating Team and Developer Compliance
  • Validating Service Levels Meet Business Needs

Supports the IT Organization:

  • Providing Input to IT's Business Strategy and Planning
  • Emphasizing Accuracy and Effectiveness of Estimating and Planning Management

Implementing and Managing Continuous Improvement Program:

  • Driving Adoption of CMMi or Similar Metrics
  • Demonstrating Continuous Improvement Through Metrics of Quality Consistency and Client Satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 10+ Years of Software Development Leadership Experience
  • 7+ Years of Technical Experience Within Architecture Development, Integration of Backend Systems, and Development
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Integration Approaches and Architectures
  • Deep Understanding of Cloud-Native Solution, Microservices-Architecture, and API Orchestration Architecture

Education and Certifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Equivalent Experience/Certification
