Role Overview

As an Event Coordinator Specialist at The Economist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our international events. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in maintaining client satisfaction by managing event registration processes, coordinating communications, and ensuring seamless event delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and test events on Cvent for both scheduled and custom events as required, covering EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions.
  2. Respond to internal and external inquiries and queries to provide a professional and responsive service across all event inboxes.
  3. Set up the integration of external virtual event platforms, including data links, data flow checks, report running, and liaison with external providers.
  4. Send customer communications, including proactive recommendations to the marketing team.
  5. Ensure high-standard execution of all forms and delegate communications.
  6. Assist the team in identifying efficiencies to minimize task execution time.
  7. Set up and deliver CVent OnArrival at Custom/LSEs if required.
  8. Assist with external registration providers if required.
  9. Mail merge data to provide custom event clip and pin badges.
  10. Support delegate registration and reporting from event launch to onsite delivery.
  11. Onsite assistance in delivering a first-class delegate experience, ensuring equipment is on site and tested in advance.
  12. Conduct delegate, attendee, and overall event analysis post-event and provide feedback on areas for improvement.

Requirements and Preferences

We are looking for individuals with experience working with CRMS (Salesforce) and/or CVent, as well as those with database management skills and previous customer service experience. Technical aptitude is highly valued.
