We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru.
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in our continued growth by spearheading new business initiatives, developing strategic partnerships, and propelling sales within the utility sector.

- Proactively identify and qualify potential clients within the ENU (Europe, North America, and Utilities) market, focusing on organizations seeking innovative solutions for waste management, water management, and energy management.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing client accounts, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs, challenges, and sustainability objectives to effectively tailor your value proposition and showcase how VRIO Digital's solutions can maximize their impact.
Strategic Growth & Partnership Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that target high-growth market segments within the utilities sector.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with industry players to expand market reach and leverage complementary expertise.
- Drive sales growth in the ENU region, exceeding established sales targets and contributing significantly to VRIO Digital's revenue goals.
Industry Expertise & Communication:
- Possess a strong understanding of the utility sector, current industry trends, and emerging sustainability practices.
- Be a compelling communicator with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a clear and concise manner.
- Deliver impactful presentations that effectively showcase VRIO Digital's solutions and their value proposition.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the utilities sector or a related field (cleantech, sustainability).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving success in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
- Strong understanding of the ENU market and its unique challenges within the utilities sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify and qualify leads, and secure new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies within the utility sector (a plus).
- Familiarity with relevant sustainability practices and trends within the utilities industry (a plus).
