Senior Business Development Strategist for Sustainable Utilities

We seek a seasoned and results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead new business initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and propel sales within the utility sector. This pivotal role involves identifying high-value opportunities, building strong client relationships, and securing successful deals that advance our mission of sustainable Acquisition & Relationship Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and qualify potential clients within the ENU market, focusing on organizations seeking innovative solutions for waste management, water management, and energy management.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing client accounts, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs, challenges, and sustainability objectives to effectively tailor your value proposition and showcase how Vrio Digital's solutions can maximize their impact.
Strategic Growth & Partnership Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that target high-growth market segments within the utilities sector.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with industry players to expand market reach and leverage complementary expertise.
- Drive sales growth in the ENU region, exceeding established sales targets and contributing significantly to Vrio Digital's revenue goals.
Industry Expertise & Communication:
- Possess a strong understanding of the utility sector, current industry trends, and emerging sustainability practices.
- Be a compelling communicator with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the utilities sector or a related field (cleantech, sustainability).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving success in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
- Strong understanding of the ENU market and its unique challenges within the utilities sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
Estimated Salary: ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum
