Senior Sales Director - Iron Business
About the Company:
Vandana Global is a leading player in the steel industry, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Director to lead our Iron Business division.
Role Overview:
The Senior Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the overall sales strategy for Iron Business, driving sales growth, and directing sales staff to achieve company goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the stainless-steel industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead a team of sales managers, account executives, and representatives to achieve sales objectives and drive business growth.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote Iron products in the market, including identifying target markets, analysing customer needs, and creating campaigns to reach and engage potential customers.
- Tactical Planning: Contribute to Iron production planning meetings, define production and sales targets, and timelines.
- Customer Management: Liaise with relevant department heads to ensure all sales orders are met on time and repeat orders are received from existing customers.
- Maintenance and Development: Ensure all sales activities are aligned with company goals and objectives, conduct market research to stay updated with latest trends and changes, and use this information to amend and/or update sales strategies.
Requirements and Skills:
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the Steel or metals industry; 5+ years of leadership experience.
Functional Skills:
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to create and manage a sales pipeline, including forecasting, monitoring sales metrics, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure deals and partnerships that benefit the company.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyse data and identify trends, develop insights, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
Salary:$150,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses based on performance.
