About This Role:
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will drive the success of key clients by forming and maintaining professional relationships, following through on contract closures and renewals, and playing a key role in their growth.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage 5-10 client accounts, developing executive relationships with clients' leadership.
- Ensure seamless communication between clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on clients' needs, vision, IT roadmap, and any anticipated deviations.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the account, their business, and key stakeholders.
- Accelerate partnership, revenue growth, and capture new opportunities.
- Pitch relevant services to clients.
- Identify and capitalize on new markets by developing go-to-market strategies.
- Track delivery timelines and quality to ensure high-quality deliverables are delivered on time.
- Present reports to senior management on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounts management or customer success roles for a software company.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).
- Understanding of the sales funnel and different stages.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to follow through on client contracts, preferably in a high-growth startup.
- Ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate them into a strategy.
- Goal-oriented attitude with a proactive working style.
- Proficiency in client interactions with the closure of sales deals.
- Must be self-motivated and have a sales-oriented mindset.
