As a seasoned professional in international business development, you will play a pivotal role in promoting global markets as attractive investment destinations to businesses from India and other emerging economies.
You will be responsible for forging strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, understanding their cross-border expansion objectives, and facilitating investment attraction in coordination with international economic development agencies.
This is a high-visibility, strategic role contributing to the promotion of international trade and business expansion across diverse geographies.

Our organization is a specialist market entry and investment promotion advisory firm, assisting international economic development agencies (EDAs), overseas enterprises, and government organizations attract investments from India and other emerging markets.
We are trusted by over 30 international EDAs to identify and engage with Indian companies for cross-border investment promotion, trade facilitation, and international market expansion across diverse geographies including Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and map potential Indian corporates and conglomerates with interest in overseas investment and expansion.
- Forge strategic partnerships with C-suite executives to promote international geographies for business growth.
- Drive lead generation and corporate outreach programs on behalf of international EDAs across multiple sectors and regions.
- Collaborate with global government agencies and EDAs to ensure effective positioning of their respective geographies.
- Plan and execute sector-specific outreach, B2B meetings, and international business roadshows.
- Support inbound and outbound trade/investment missions, facilitating productive corporate engagements.
- Provide market intelligence and reports on Indian outbound investment trends and sector-specific insights.
- Prepare presentations, industry pitches, and reports aligned with the objectives of our EDA clients.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Economics, International Relations, or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, investment promotion, international trade advisory, or market entry consulting.
- Exposure to working with international trade bodies, Corporate Bank, investment agencies, chambers of commerce, or consulting firms is preferred.
Core Skills & Competencies:
- Proven capability in CxO-level relationship management and business development.
- Strong ability to sell a country/region as an investment destination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of Macroeconomics, FDI drivers, global trade, and cross-border investment trends.
- Experience in managing corporate outreach, trade missions, roadshows, and delegation visits.
- Cross-cultural communication skills and international exposure are highly desirable.
