We are seeking an experienced Catalytic Finance Strategist to join our team at MicroSave Consulting.

About the Role:

  • This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our overall strategy for catalytic finance, executing live projects under the CF-PG, and supporting the team in building new business.
  • You will be involved in contributing to and leading specific research pieces on impact investments, continuously scanning the funding ecosystem to scout for funding opportunities for the projects, and creating content for dissemination and outreach of CF-PG's work.
  • Additionally, you will document best practices or principles of impact investing in India or internationally, contribute towards organizing events, and support the GSI team in business development.
  • Your responsibilities will also include writing/reviewing proposals and pitches, preparing related collaterals including case studies, and supporting the GSI team in planning and executing assignments with Government.
  • You will also be responsible for training and capacity building of team members in MSC, publishing blogs, articles to promote MSC's work in national and international media, and participating in relevant events, conferences to represent MSC.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the impact investing space and working experience in India, ideally in the development sector, fintech, or impact investing more broadly.
  • Demonstrably passionate about social impact and knowledge of a wide variety of impact investment asset classes, from equity, debt, and guarantees, to innovative structures like climate bonds, impact bonds, etc.
  • Experience working in a live multi-stakeholder blended finance structure involving philanthropies, investors, and service providers and an understanding of the impact investment space of India in particular and the globe in general.

Qualification:

  • A master's degree in Finance/ MBA (finance)/ CA, or other relevant professional qualifications in line with the areas of specialization.

Estimated Salary: ₹25-35 lakhs per annum.
