About This Role

This role is an opportunity to contribute to the security operations of a leading global technology retailer. As an Enterprise Corporate Security Supervisor, you will play a key part in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities.

You will be responsible for supporting the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures, collaborating with crisis management teams, and ensuring the proper functioning of security systems. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to 3rd party security teams and serve as the primary point of contact during incident activations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Operations: Support day-to-day physical security operations and assist in the implementation and enforcement of Security and Emergency Response Team policies and procedures across the facility.
  • Crisis Management: Collaborate with Best Buy's U.S. based Enterprise Crisis Management and Business Continuity teams to support the development and implementation of crisis management and business continuity protocols.
  • Front Desk Security: Support front desk security operations and ensure proper identification and authorization procedures are followed.
  • Security Systems: Support maintenance, implementation, and monitoring of security systems including Access Control, CCTV, and Visitor Management.
  • Risk Assessments: Assist with coordinating security logistics and risk assessments for international travel.
  • Incident Response: Provide support and guidance to 3rd party security teams with overnight, weekend and holiday coverage.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in physical security operations, crisis management, emergency services, safety & compliance or related field
  • Security Systems IT: 3+ years of experience in a security systems IT oriented role, including experience supporting security systems such as access control, CCTV, visitor management, etc.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Indirect Leadership: Indirect leadership experience
  • Training and Education: Experience training/educating individuals on policy and procedure
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with Lenel OnGuard, Milestone, Eptura iOffice
  • Risk Analysis: Knowledge of risk assessments, threat analysis, and emergency preparedness
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and administrative skills
