
Technical Application Support Specialist

As a key member of our organization's technical support team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our banking and financial applications. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch application support for these critical systems, working closely with internal teams to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional L1/L2 application support for banking and fintech applications, leveraging your analytical skills to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Establish strong relationships with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis, identifying and documenting solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues, maintaining open channels of communication throughout the process.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in our knowledge base, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer.
- Monitor application logs and system alerts to proactively identify potential issues, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Support regular deployments, patch releases, and production validations, collaborating with technical teams to ensure smooth execution.
- 2-4 years of experience in application support, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services, with a strong understanding of incident and ticketing tools.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple support tickets under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in SQL and basic database query writing, with experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Understanding of cloud-based applications and monitoring tools, with exposure to ITIL practices or service management workflows.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also being an effective team player who can collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
- Familiarity with .NET technologies, payment systems, and integration interfaces.
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
