Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Fundraising Associate, where they will play a crucial part in building our development engine. This position is ideal for someone with 3-5 years' experience in fundraising and donor engagement, who is eager to consolidate their skills and grow into a frontline fundraising professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an up-to-date donor database, identifying High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and institutional donors.
  • Conduct thorough research to map new prospects, preparing concise donor briefs for leadership meetings and supporting Development Board members with background notes and prospect tracking.
  • Draft proposals, reports, and presentations aligned with our initiatives, ensuring all proposal templates are current and standardized across programs.
  • Contribute to donor newsletters, mailers, and impact communications, highlighting the transformative power of theatre in civic and cultural life.
  • Maintain grant calendars and submission trackers, logging all donor/board interactions within 48 hours in our CRM system.
  • Lead the fundraising design and delivery of donor salons and stewardship events, working closely with operations staff for logistics and concept development.
  • Prepare dashboards and internal reports on fundraising activity, showcasing our progress and areas for improvement.

Growth Pathway & Compensation:

  • A competitive fixed salary of ₹50,000–₹55,000 per month, full-time, with annual increments in line with our HR policy.
  • An opportunity to co-own donor relationships and manage a warm portfolio sourced via the Development Advisory Board, leading to higher responsibility and compensation through bonuses and expanded stewardship duties.
  • The potential to evolve into a trusted frontline fundraiser, capable of originating, managing, and actively supporting the closing of major gifts within our donor ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or corporate partnerships, preferably in the arts/non-profit sector.
  • Strong research, writing, and presentation skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets, CRM tools, and donor data management.
  • Confidence in working with senior stakeholders, including philanthropists and corporate leaders, and a passion for theatre as a tool for social good.
  • Ability to manage upwards with confidence, anticipating needs, communicating proactively, and maintaining clarity in a fast-paced environment.
