Job Overview

The Cloud Pre-Sales Solutions Leader is a critical role that requires a seasoned professional with expertise in cloud technologies, pre-sales functions, and sales strategy development. This position demands someone who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and lead the development of cloud-based product offerings.

About the Role

This leadership position involves:

  • Developing and executing pre-sales strategies for cloud-based product offerings, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to design and implement technical visions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Collaborating with sales and business development teams to develop proactive and reactive RFPs, RFQs, presentations, proposal defenses, and due diligence sessions.
  • Providing expert guidance on costing complexities and conducting calculations using various cloud-based tools.
  • Establishing and leading practices for pre-sales/consulting services, focusing on cloud-based product solutions.
  • Designing and implementing technical vision and pre-sales strategies for cloud-based product offerings.
  • Responding to proposals, participating in project infrastructure capacity management, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Driving understanding of client objectives, addressing challenges, and recognizing larger industry challenges and opportunities.
  • Fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams to enable Go-To-Market strategies, identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within and outside the organization.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience managing pre-sales functions in IT infrastructure, preferably with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work proactively and reactively, developing and executing proposals, presentations, and due diligence sessions.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand costing complexities and conduct calculations using cloud-based tools.
  • A proven track record of establishing and leading practices for pre-sales/consulting services, focusing on cloud-based product solutions.
