Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled legal professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager/Manager Legal. This is a key role that requires strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to advise stakeholders on various legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, structuring, vetting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements in line with business understanding and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation for the organization.
  • Reviewing statutory compliances at various locations and suggesting remedial measures. Working with concerned stakeholders to ensure remedial measures are put in place in a timely manner.
  • Understanding the business and analyzing the risk involved and advising on mitigating liabilities for the organization.
  • Advising stakeholders from time to time on various issues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • LL.B. / LL.M. degree from a recognized institution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Drafting, vetting, and negotiating various kinds of agreements within India and cross-border.
  • Exposure to statutory compliances, litigation, and intellectual property law would be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business and financial acumen.
  • Strong communication and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high-quality agreements and other documents.
  • Well-versed in how business operates in a high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  • Ability to have influence across all levels of the business including peers and senior management, and able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented, good judgment, and sound risk-mitigating skills.
