Senior Corporate Lawyer Opportunity

We are a leading provider of corporate legal services seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior lawyer to join our international corporate/commercial team.

The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and support to our corporate clients, focusing on US law-related work including M&A, corporate finance, venture capital, fund formation, and representation, as well as specialty international commercial work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned lawyer to leverage their expertise and skills in a remote work setup with exposure to high-quality legal work and intensive training.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified as an Advocate in India with at least 1 year PQE
  • LLB or equivalent degree from an Indian national law school (or equivalent) and ranked in at least the top 20% in their batch
  • Previous experience with a tier-1 corporate law firm in India in the M&A, Private Equity or General Corporate practice
  • Ability to independently evaluate complex legal issues and provide solutions in simple English to clients, both orally and in writing
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess potential for risk and opportunity
  • Proven team player with demonstrated teamwork, analytical and consultation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under own initiative with a very strong work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail with stellar drafting skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and/or tight timelines in a fluid/fast-paced, collaborative, team environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Applications (Excel, Word etc.)
