Senior Estate Planning Lawyer - Lead Wills and Trusts Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estate Planning Lawyer to lead our in-house wills and trusts offering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective estate planning solutions for high-net-worth clients.

About the Role

This is a strategic leadership role within our growing firm, where you will work closely with experienced professionals in tax, accountancy, and financial planning. As the Head of Wills and Trusts, you will be responsible for:

  • Drafting complex wills, discretionary and lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, and powers of attorney
  • Providing technical guidance and support to financial advisers and clients
  • Oversight of compliance and risk management for legal outputs
  • Building and managing a small, high-performing team as the service expands
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full TEP Practitioner status
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in wills, trusts, and estate planning
  • Proven ability to handle complex HNW/UHNW client cases
  • Strong understanding of IHT, CGT, and trust taxation issues
  • Commercially minded, collaborative, and able to operate with minimal supervision
