Job Role

The Procurement Operations Manager will oversee the execution of daily procurement operations tasks, encompassing PR to PO conversion, fixed asset creation and capitalization, supplier re-certification initiation, contract drafting, and system updates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to team performance metrics such as SLA, quality, and efficiency targets.
  • Collaborate with category managers, accounts payable, vendor risk management office, corporate ethics and compliance teams, information security and privacy, and contingent workforce program team to drive issue resolution and process enhancements.
  • Review legal clauses and handle customer inquiries throughout the contract implementation process.
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation, including desktop procedures.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports for the team and represent the team at various internal forums.
  • Maintain effective customer relationships, resolve user queries promptly, build awareness of common pitfalls, conduct periodic or need-based reviews with key partners.

Requirements:

  • Around 5-7 years of validated experience in procurement operations with exposure to both product and services procurement in at least two categories mentioned above.
  • Thorough knowledge of procurement processes is a must, and experience with P2P tools like Ariba/Coupa, ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, and reporting and metrics tools like Tableau/Power BI is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, always questioning the status quo.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an exciting, fast-paced, and robust team environment.
