Customer Onboarding Manager

As a strategic hiring manager, we are seeking a Customer Onboarding Manager to spearhead the creation of a positive first impression for our company on customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer requests and reviewing their renewal pipeline.

The successful candidate will serve as a product champion, driving adoption and expanding features with our product team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

  • Develop and implement customer onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration with our platform.
  • Manage relationships between internal and external teams to drive account success.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate process improvements and overall account health.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for our platform, identifying opportunities to expand within the account.
  • Resolve product support questions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with product management to translate customer feedback into product requirements.
  • Contribute to the operationalization of our implementation function as the team scales.

About You:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Technical Onboarding Manager, Customer Onboarding Manager, Solutions Architect, or Implementation Consultant.
  • Experience in project managing customer implementations for enterprise clients or consulting with clients on business process improvements at the Director, VP, and Exec level of Fortune 500 companies.
  • An advanced understanding of SaaS and Cloud-based software environments.
  • A builder mindset, comfortable working in a startup environment and taking projects from inception to delivery.
  • Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and database structures, as well as experience troubleshooting technical problems.
  • Proven ability to run projects where the roadmap/checklist varies for each client's custom situation.
  • Comfortable helping define customer workflow/automation requirements by asking the right questions.
  • Ability to tease out nuanced details from customers and create net-new process diagrams/workflows to increase value to them.
