
South Asia Regional Business Development Director

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Head to lead our business in South Asia. As the Regional Head, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, identify opportunities for partnerships and innovation, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the biofuel ethanol or grain processing industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior commercial role. They will also possess excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across functions internally and externally.
Our Regional Head will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance work culture, and ensuring succession planning, capability building, and leadership development. They will also be comfortable working in a multi-cultural and remote environment, with a strong proactiveness to work across functions internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- At least BSc. in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering or any relevant fields
- Strong background in the biofuel ethanol or grain processing industry
- Senior commercial experience with specialty chemicals or enzymes
- Leadership skills and experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop go-to-market strategy with key action plans based on industry trends, competitor analysis, market needs, resources, and support requirements
- Identify and capitalize on regional opportunities for growth, partnerships, and innovation
- Lead and mentor sales managers and technical service managers and cross-functional teams across the region
- Ensure succession planning, capability building, and leadership development
