Chemicals and Materials Business Development Lead

At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to spearhead our chemicals and materials business development efforts.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business research and consulting, with a deep understanding of the chemicals and natural resources industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the chemicals and materials market.
  2. Build and manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business development projects, ensuring timely completion and exceeding client expectations.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market analysis, and competitor intelligence, providing strategic insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in business research or consulting type of engagements.
  • Deep primary research experience, with the ability to train team members and improve their primary research skills.
  • End-to-end management of business research or consulting engagements, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Excellent knowledge of Market Analysis, Business Analysis, Technology Analysis, Competitor Intelligence, Management Frameworks, Advanced MS Office, Forecasting, and Business Writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling teams of qualified professionals and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical mindset and technical background to generate insights and actionable recommendations.
