Job Title: Corporate Strategy LeadOverview:

We are seeking an experienced corporate strategy lead to drive our organization's growth and success. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic plans, oversee project execution, and provide market analysis and competitive intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning and Development: Develop and implement the company's strategic plan in alignment with business goals.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of strategic projects and initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
  • Corporate Planning/Development: Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances, leading due diligence processes and negotiations for corporate development activities.
  • Innovation and Growth Initiatives: Foster a culture of innovation within the organization to drive growth, overseeing the development of new products, services, and business models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and build support for strategic initiatives, communicating strategic goals and progress to various stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Expertise in Financial Modeling and Business Case Creation: Skilled in creating financial models and business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to convey insights to senior stakeholders through effective communication and presentation skills.
  • High Proficiency in Tools like PowerPoint and Excel: Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools to create presentations and manage data.
  • Strong Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Capabilities: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to Navigate and Deliver Results in Ambiguous and Fast-Changing Business Environments: Skilled in navigating complex business environments and delivering results under pressure.
  • Strategic Mindset with a Keen Eye for Detail and Commercial Implications: Ability to think strategically and consider commercial implications when making decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering: Degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
  • MBA from a Tier-1 Institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.): MBA degree from a reputable institute.
  • 15 to 17 Years of Experience in Strategic Roles within the Chemical or Allied Sectors: Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic roles within the chemical or allied sectors.
  • Prior Exposure to Business Development, Corporate Planning, or Strategy Consulting: Previous experience in business development, corporate planning, or strategy consulting.
  • Experience in Techno-Commercial Functions is a Strong Advantage: Prior experience in techno-commercial functions is highly desirable.
