About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead our digital solutions sales efforts in Mumbai and Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of engaging enterprise business leaders, building customer relationships, and influencing senior executives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Meet with existing clients to discuss our products and services, and initiate new opportunities across new target accounts.
  2. Presents information regarding leads, clients, and sales at company meetings.
  3. Provide input to our digital team for new capabilities to be built based on customer requirements.
  4. Regularly attend industry conferences to expand insights and opportunities for the team.
  5. Customer relationship management, including upselling or cross-selling and renewal sales.
  6. Analysing and understanding business requirements and objectives associated with a client's vision and roadmap.
  7. Formally eliciting these requirements and detailing them, working with internal teams to scope potential projects.
  8. Submitting proposals to the customer, monitoring the client's budget, and negotiating new terms if necessary.
  9. Lead all aspects of client selling, including prospecting, consultation, building strategic proposals, relationship management, closing, and transition.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development.
  • Proven experience engaging enterprise business leaders, building customer relationships, and influencing senior executives.
  • Experience selling consultative services in the digital space is a plus.
  • Understanding of the SDLC process.
  • Knowledge of government sales is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior client leadership, understand client business, and connect it with technical/LOB solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
