Business Program Manager Position

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven individual to spearhead the launch of a new business venture. As the Business Program Manager, this person will serve as a trusted advisor to the business head, collaborating across various functions to create a cohesive and effective whole.

The primary responsibilities of this role include overseeing all aspects of business data, extracting actionable insights for improvement, and driving business outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess equal proficiency in on-ground operations and digital management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Oversee all aspects of business data, from function charters to financial performance, and derive meaningful insights to inform decision-making.
  • Execution Ownership: Collaborate with the business head to drive on-ground execution, leveraging expertise in sales and program management to achieve business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships between business functions and leadership, providing support and guidance to ensure seamless problem-solving.
  • Process Development and Productization: Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the business and individual functions, utilizing technology and SaaS solutions to optimize operations.
  • New Market Launches: Play a key role in launching new markets, serving as the market lead for initial on-ground operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university and an MBA from a reputable institution.
  • Experience: 1-5 years of work experience in sales and program management, with a preference for retail distribution/sales and BFSI backgrounds.
  • Skills: Proven project management experience, comfort with data analysis and dashboarding, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, high ownership, adaptability, and ability to quickly develop new business skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
