At Spirited Motor Vehicles Limited, we are seeking an experienced Trucking Business Development Executive to join our team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual to drive business growth and expand our client base in the trucking industry. As a Trucking Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading trucking dealership and contribute to our success. You will have the chance to work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients and collaborate with internal departments to address client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trucking industry, researching and targeting potential clients including logistics companies, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Sales and Negotiation: Present our company's services and capabilities to potential clients, preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and proposals, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business deals.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, analyzing market data to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research, following up on leads, qualifying prospects, and converting them into clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients, coordinating with internal departments to address client requirements and resolve operational issues.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development progress, preparing regular sales reports and providing management with updates on sales pipelines, targets, and achievements.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Strong business development and sales skills with experience in the trucking industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze market data and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Experience with sales reporting and data analysis.
