Sequencing Specialist for Regional Growth

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic Sales Sequencing Specialist to join our team at Integrated Gulf Biosystems. This role is based out of India and will be responsible for growing the business of assigned portfolios across the Middle East and India region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growth Strategy: Develop and implement effective growth strategies to increase sales of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Instruments, NGS Panels, Oncology, Reproductive Health, Exome, and WGS business across all regions.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to position products in a competitively differentiated manner, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively sell our portfolio.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers to understand their application requirements and provide complete configuration solutions for discrete instrument deals and reagent rental deals.
  • Escalation Management: Effectively handle and close customer escalations related to products/configurations by interacting with the sales team and customers.
  • Team Development: Play a key role in developing a sales team capable of positioning competitively differentiated products/solutions.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience as a Product Specialist/Technical Sales Specialist handling NGS Instruments, NGS Panels, Oncology, Reproductive Health, Exome, and WGS portfolio.
  • Excellent communication skills in handling stakeholders and decision-makers in pre-sales activities.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively escalate issues, making them visible and handled in the system (CRM-Escalation Module).
  • Strong teamwork skills while developing and deploying effective category programs and marketing campaigns.
Performance Metrics:
  • Business Growth and Profitability: Directly managed by the Product Specialist function, highlighting the effectiveness of sales team training in positioning competitively differentiated products/solutions.
  • Escalation Closures: On product/application-related issues, assessed by the management team.
  • Category Program Deployment: Effectiveness of category programs, evaluated by the management team.
