Job Opportunity: Assistant General Manager

Purpose and Job Responsibilities:

  • This position requires a highly skilled leader to oversee the QC-AMV team of 30+ members, ensuring regular testing/method validation activities are conducted with quality and productivity in mind.
  • The ideal candidate will provide back-up support to the QC HOD with daily updates, commercial output, monthly sample status, training, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • They will execute and approve different types of QMS (OOS, OOT, Investigation etc) and identify scientific root causes with effective CAPA and maintain Lab compliance.

Data Analysis and Presentation:

  • The successful candidate will design and execute analysis planning, data interpretation, and present results to the HOD.
  • They must maintain a self-driven work ethic, make informed decisions, and be a good learner, providing guidance to team members and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).

Leadership Skills:

  • The leader will lead all types of QC-AMV work in the absence of the QC-HOD and actively participate in departmental improvement programs.
  • They will collaborate with cross-functional teams like QA, RA, R&D, and PMI to complete allocated tasks with ownership and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree of Science or Bachelor's/Master's in Pharma is required.
  • Strong analytical knowledge and expertise in modern analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, NIR, Nasal performance testing, etc.) with complex data interpretation skills.
  • Leadership skills with experience in motivating and developing team members.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic mindset. Solid organisational and time management skills with multiple project handling abilities.
