About the Role

As a Packaging Assistant at Bombay Sweet Shop, you will play a crucial part in our online delivery process, ensuring every order is packed accurately and securely. You will work closely with the Fulfillment Supervisor to guarantee that every item is treated with care and attention.

This role reports directly to the Café Manager and will be based out of multiple locations in Mumbai. Your primary responsibilities include picking items from designated areas, packing orders according to specifications, and verifying accuracy before finalizing packaging and labeling for delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Order Accuracy: You will verify the accuracy of orders before packing and labeling them for delivery.
  • Stock Management: You will assist with replenishing stock and managing inventory to ensure there is always enough product for orders.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: You will maintain a clean and organized fulfillment area, including storage shelves and packing stations, to ensure efficient access to products.
  • Food Safety: You will adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards while handling food products.
  • Problem-Solving: You will communicate any discrepancies in orders or issues with packaging to the Fulfillment Supervisor or Café Manager for swift resolution.
  • Teamwork: You will collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure smooth workflows and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Flexibility: You will be flexible and ready to work rolling shifts as per the Café's needs.
  • Support the Front of House: You will assist the Front-of-House team as needed to ensure a top-notch customer experience.
