- Month-End Closing Activities: The Revenue Account Manager is responsible for month-end closing activities associated with revenue tasks, reporting, and account reconciliation. This includes reviewing and ensuring all journal entries have proper supporting documentation and approval.
- Analytical Skills: The ideal candidate should possess a skilled analytical mindset to identify underlying issues and discrepancies, as well as the ability to prepare and review close tasks adhering to close timelines.
- Technical Revenue Issues: The candidate will help resolve technical revenue issues and ensure the close cycle is completed efficiently.
- Revenue Recognition: The Revenue Account Manager will review customer contracts to assess revenue recognition following the ASC 606 guidance.
- Special Projects: The role involves participating in special projects as needed, driving them to successful completion.
- Stakeholder Liaison: The candidate will serve as a liaison with stakeholders across multiple offices and teams (Finance, IT, Sales Ops) to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Process Improvement: The Revenue Account Manager will understand and drive process improvement of Revenue and Order to Cash business processes.
- Internal Controls: The candidate will maintain formal accounting policies, practices, and procedures to ensure US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
- Audits: The role involves participating in the completion of internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and support calculations.
