
Primary Market Business Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new Independent Financial Distributors (IFDs) and providing them with the necessary training and support to succeed in the primary market.
Your primary focus will be on recruiting and training IFDs, as well as driving sales of financial products through this channel. You will need to have a deep understanding of the primary market and its products, as well as the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge to our IFD partners.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and onboard new IFDs, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the primary market.
- Provide regular training and support to IFDs, helping them to understand and utilize our digital platform and mobile app.
- Drive sales of financial products through the IFD channel, working closely with our marketing and product teams to identify opportunities and develop strategies to achieve growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our IFD partners, ensuring they have the support and resources they need to succeed.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales of investment products, preferably through the IFD/IFA and Franchisee channels.
- Deep understanding of the primary market and its products, including mutual funds, PMS, stock broking, and corporate FDs.
- Strong recruitment and handling skills, with the ability to identify and onboard new IFDs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Domain knowledge: Understanding of market pulse, trade knowledge, understanding of the indirect channel.
- IT Skills: MS Office and Business Intelligence Applications.
