About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Sales Channel Manager to join our Asset Management team in Kolkata, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key distributors across various segments, including banks, national distributors, and IFAs. This role requires a mature individual with excellent sales and communication skills to promote and sell our products effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Manage key focus distributors across Banks, Wealth, and Personal Banking Segment & National Distributors
- Collaborate closely with Group Distribution entities to strengthen the network
- Build new distribution channels and penetration opportunities within the IFA segment
- Focus on business expansion, identify potential counters to increase market share
- Develop and own Regional level relationships based out in the region
- Manage key institutional clients in the market
This role involves direct client interaction, requiring a person who can comfortably discuss markets and promote our products.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- A good understanding of mutual fund products
- Strong selling skills and commercial acumen
- Good verbal and written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Inclination to work in a client-facing sales role
- Ideal post-graduate with 6-10 years of experience; AMFI certification is desired
- Candidates without required experience or qualifications but passionate about mutual fund sales are also encouraged to apply
