US HR Operations Specialist
Synergy Talent Acquisition is seeking a skilled and results-driven HR Operations Specialist to join our US-based team.
We are looking for an individual with expertise in HR operations, who can provide support and manage end-to-end processes for our employees. This role involves handling onboarding, benefits administration, employee records, payroll coordination, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations in alignment with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Coordinate smooth onboarding for new hires, including tracking all documents and employee benefits on the HR portal.
- Manage employee exits, including resignation processing, exit interviews, and final settlements.
- HR Operations & Employee Support:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Serve as the first point of contact for US employee HR queries.
- Track employee leave, PTOs, and time-off requests.
- Support employee communication initiatives.
- Benefits & Compliance:
- Assist in benefits enrollment (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive HR data.
- Payroll Coordination:
- Work closely with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Track reimbursements and benefit deductions.
- Ensure employee changes are reflected in payroll systems promptly.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Draft HR letters and related documents.
- Generate periodic reports on headcount, attrition, and other HR metrics as required.

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations with exposure to US HR practices.
- Prior experience working with remote or hybrid US teams.
- Familiarity with HR tools and systems.
- Good understanding of US employment laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
