Human Resources Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Professional to oversee people operations, working in Pacific Time hours. This role encompasses all aspects of talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and building a workplace culture that fosters job satisfaction.

This includes handling hiring, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, HR policies, performance reviews, and training programs. Ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws is also a key responsibility. The selected candidate will serve as the point person for employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, performance management, and exit processes.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment: writing job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating offers, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and secure employee records, contracts, HR documentation, and HRMS data.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, PF, POSH, and other statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and company events to boost morale and retention.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance redressal.
  • Lead performance review cycles, goal-setting processes, and career development frameworks.
  • Regularly review and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance and clarity for employees.
  • Generate HR reports on hiring, attrition, engagement, and workforce analytics for management.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of progressive HR experience in India across major HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • The ability to independently manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance management cycles.
  • Experience designing and implementing engagement initiatives that improve employee satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with HRMS tools, payroll systems, and data analytics for HR reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, and empathy to handle sensitive matters professionally.
  • Comfortable working in Pacific Time hours to align with global teams.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization.
