Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for acquiring new merchants in the Emerging & Enterprise category.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-performance environment with strong networking, business development, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills. You will prepare short-term and long-term sales plans, sales approaches, and strategies to drive innovation and consistently achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new merchants in the Emerging & Enterprise category.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, sales approaches, and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Drive innovation and question the norm to improve sales processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in B2B sales or partnerships, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or payments industry.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end business development cycles from lead generation to closure.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise merchant needs and market trends in the payments ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success in handling complex negotiations and long sales cycles.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
