
IT Business Development Lead

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead business development efforts for IT and security solutions within the Government sector.
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Key Account Manager to drive demand generation, identify opportunities, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in government and PSU sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end sales activities for Government accounts across central/state departments, police, and public sector bodies.
- Drive business growth through upselling, cross-selling, and sustained engagement.
- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in government and PSU sectors.
- Stay updated with relevant government schemes, digital transformation projects, and procurement guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institution.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in B2G (Business-to-Government) IT sales.
- Proven success in selling IT/software/security solutions to Government/PSU clients.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes and bid submission.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
As a successful candidate, you will have excellent analytical skills, be results-driven, and possess the ability to manage complex hierarchies.
