What you will be doing:
- Packaging and delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations to meet client requirements.
- Supporting sales activity including meeting attendance, deal qualification and commercial proposal development.
- Reviewing lead generation from campaigns and events, and supporting the qualification process.
- Ensuring successful service demonstrations and use-case walkthroughs with clients.
- The role requires establishing a strong collaboration and partnership attitude between the solution consulting team and the sales organisation, as well as other teams within product management, client engagement, professional services and card payments line of business.
- Liaising with implementation and product engineering teams to define functional and technical specifications and prepare technical documentation.
- Reviewing effort estimates, justifying or rejecting them to revisions and converting inputs into commercial proposals with finance support.
- Tracking and publishing progress on sales opportunities and reporting.
- Providing end-to-end documentation for proposals, agreements, RFP and RFI responses.
- Preparing presentations and materials for demo sessions and submitting proposals on behalf of the Deal core team.
- Ensuring solutions stated in the Statement of Work are best practice and aligned with client requirements.
- Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFIs and RFPs.
- Working closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process.
- Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements.
- Staying up-to-date with market trends and product & competitor landscapes.
- Preparing content for promoting products and POC/Demos conducted for internal and external audiences.
- Independently handling and facing clients.
- Training Sales teams on products to be managed and imparted.
What you bring:
- At least 12 years of experience in the card payments industry.
- At least 10 years of experience in presales and/or business solutions roles.
- A flair for technical and presentation documentation.
- Experience in Business Development is beneficial.
- Solutioning, domain knowledge, presentation skills, consultation abilities.
- Ample exposure in Payments domain and solution stacks and applications.
- Basic understanding of commercial benefits and business cases in Retail Payments domain.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations is preferred.
- Strong presentation skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient in English; additional regional languages/Hindi is an added advantage.
- Contractual obligation assessment and documentation capabilities.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Previous experience in presales may be helpful.
Educational Qualification: Any Degree/MBA
Additional Bonus if you have:
- Knowledge of FIS products and services.
- Knowledge of banking or Financial services industry.
