Key Role: Business Manager

As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting Oil Additives business across the Indian subcontinent.

  • Maintain and grow existing business profitably by achieving challenging targets in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
  • Create strong relationships with customers at various levels within the organization and acquire new customers through effective communication and sales processes.
  • Identify potential target Indian OEM's within the Automotive industry & the industrial segment and work collaboratively with them to promote Evonik Oil Additive technologies/initiatives.
  • Determine the most suitable sales channels for customers and segments in the region and select, manage, and evaluate agents and distributors.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical sales acumen, be self-motivated, enthusiastic, target-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication skills. They should also have an open-minded approach to new ideas and be willing to propose innovative solutions.

To excel in this role, the candidate should hold a degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Basic knowledge of lubricants & its application is preferred. An MBA in Sales / Operations and experience of handling Public sector customers are additional advantages.
