Job Description

The role of Commercial Business Head will lead the B2B business strategy for the Bangalore region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business plan that aligns with national goals.

Key responsibilities include identifying regional market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to drive business expansion. Additionally, the Commercial Business Head will build a strong presence in local industry forums, associations, and networks.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in B2B business leadership, sales, or regional business management. Strong commercial acumen, excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the B2B business strategy for the Bangalore region aligned with national goals.
  • Identify regional market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to drive business expansion.
  • Build a strong presence in local industry forums, associations, and networks.
  • Drive acquisition of enterprise and mid-market clients across Bangalore and surrounding areas.
  • Own and deliver revenue targets, ensuring consistent pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Lead negotiations and close large-value deals with regional accounts.
  • Manage P&L for the Bangalore region ensuring profitability and cost optimization.
  • Oversee client delivery, onboarding, and customer satisfaction in the region.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales and account management team for the Bangalore region.
  • Provide mentorship, set performance KPIs, and drive a culture of accountability and growth.

Requirements include:

  • Education: MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 5–12 years of experience in B2B business leadership, sales, or regional business management.
  • Strong understanding of the Bangalore market, with established local networks.
  • Proven track record of achieving regional revenue targets and scaling businesses.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on P&L management experience.
