Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our commercial efforts across the region in India. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing market opportunities and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective BD strategies to increase wallet share of business for API products in India
  • Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and order forecasting for production planning
  • Grow share of business and expand relationships within customers, identifying influencers, gatekeepers, and decision-makers within the region

Techincal Requirements:

  • At least 15-20 years of relevant industry experience in API sales and business development (India market focus preferred)
  • Strong leadership qualities, including excellent verbal and written communication skills, relationship management skills, strategic thinking, and innovative thinking
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with incomplete information

Key Skills:

  • Negotiation and presentation techniques
  • Well-versed sales techniques, consultative selling, customer psychology, and purchasing patterns

Additional Information:

You will be responsible for interacting with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses, co-ordinating with the planning/production and Logistics/Shipping team, and ensuring despatch as per customer time-lines, shipping documentations, and payments received by due-dates from the customer.

Key performance indicators include growing the share of business, expanding relationships within customers, and deploying a strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify their supply chain challenges and develop value creating solutions.
