This position is an exciting chance to work with a leading travel company in the South Asia region.
- Travel to India and Sri Lanka for a new career challenge as Program Service Manager, working closely with senior travelers on land tours.
The role of a Program Service Manager involves supervising trip leaders, training them, and driving their performance to meet regional goals. This requires strong leadership skills, flexibility, analytical thinking, creativity, independence, and organizational ability.
Key qualifications for this job include at least 3 years of experience in hiring, training, coaching, and managing teams, preferably in the travel sector. You must be well-versed about South India and Sri Lanka and have a proven ability to motivate people while building trust, accountability, and respect-based relationships.
A strong candidate will also possess administrative skills including working knowledge with databases and Microsoft Office, and be able to communicate effectively using feedback models. In addition, they should be comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time and be able to speak English fluently both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities- Develop hiring and training plans to staff all departures with high-performing trip leaders.
- Lead trip leader meetings and training sessions in office environments and on-road simulations.
- Assign trip leaders based on past performance and company needs.
- Interact regularly with travelers on site and provide 24/7 emergency support for all trip leaders.
