We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our team at L&T Construction.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee electrical contracts from tendering to completion. As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of electrical contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive contract management strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop effective solutions to address any challenges that may arise during the contract execution phase.
  • Manage and optimize resources to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to foster trust, confidence, and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct thorough site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-8 years of experience in electrical contracting, preferably in a leadership or management position.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex contracts, delivering projects on time, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Brief awareness of BIM (Building Information Modelling) principles and practices.
