Job Description

EPC Project Management

We are seeking an Electrical Procurement Specialist to join our team at the Headquarters in Chennai. As a key member of the Supply Chain Management department, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities for EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure electrical packages for EPC projects from vendors.
  • Evaluate offers and negotiate prices, terms, and contractual conditions.
  • Finalize contracts within approved costs and identify potential savings opportunities.
  • Prepare Letters of Intent and Purchase Orders.
  • Coordinate with internal clients and vendors for timely deliveries.
  • Ensure technical clearance for manufacturing and expediting.
  • Support site coordination for QC inspections and supply chain management.
  • Handle consumable items for southern and central region projects.
  • Develop alternate potential vendors for electrical items.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
