Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to manage monthly closes, oversee full-cycle accounting, and prepare management reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Closedown Management: Manage the closedown process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting systems.
- Financial Reporting: Record and track income across structured deals, preparing financial statements for investors.
- Portfolio Oversight: Review financials from multiple portfolio companies and flag variances to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.
- Support and Compliance: Support accountants on tax preparation, filings, and fund administration.
- Fund Accounting Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct experience in fund accounting (private equity, private debt, or fund admin).
- GAAP Knowledge: Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and multi-entity consolidations.
- Industry Expertise: Background working with medium-sized companies in the $10M–$100M revenue range.
- Reporting Skills: Ability to manage both fund-level and portfolio-level reporting.
- CPA Preferred: Certified Public Accountant preferred but not required.
- Accounting Platforms: Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
- Clear Communication: Clear communicator with excellent documentation skills.
- Operator Mindset: Adds value beyond compliance and reporting.
- Project Management: Able to balance recurring tasks with special projects.
- Integrity: Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and ownership.
