About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Specialist with 3–5 years of experience in conducting audits under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), specifically within the Brokers, Forex, and Financial Instruments sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support IFRS-based audits for clients in the Brokers, Forex, and Financial Instruments industries.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with client finance teams and other stakeholders to gather audit evidence and documentation.
  • Evaluate internal controls, identify potential risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate audit reports and findings.
  • Collaborate with international audit teams and clients across multiple time zones.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in IFRS and regulatory changes impacting the financial services industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IFRS audits, preferably in a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm.
  • Prior audit experience with Brokers, Forex companies, or firms dealing with complex financial instruments is required.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in financial services is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment is crucial.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent would be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with European clients or familiarity with European financial regulations is beneficial.
