Scientific SME Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Scientific Subject Matter Expert (SME). As an SME, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality proposals and contracts that align with study protocols and integrate scientific best practices.

The SME will represent the company in client meetings and industry conferences, supporting business growth and strong sponsor relationships. You will be responsible for managing the coordination and development of business proposals, drafting and reviewing documents, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Your expertise in scientific writing, proposal development, or contract management, combined with your experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry, will be invaluable in this role. You will work closely with our global team to customize each clinical trial's imaging to optimize the opportunity to demonstrate efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing proposal design by identifying opportunities and needs described in RFPs and associated documentation
  • Drafting, reviewing, and assisting with change orders and revisions to those documents
  • Representing the company in conferences and meetings with clients and prospective clients
  • Presenting at conferences and other industry meetings
  • Interacting with sponsors and vendors, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science/MIS, Science, Law, or a related area. Experience in an iCRO is essential, and knowledge of 21CFR Part 11, Good Clinical Practices (ICH E6 GCP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is highly desirable.
