Job Summary

The Strategic Vendor Partnership Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and developing relationships with suppliers to ensure the company has the best partners for its products and services. This role requires a strategic approach to vendor management and a strong understanding of market trends.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet business requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure optimal deals.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with existing suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their supplier needs and requirements.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on supplier performance and procurement strategies.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
