Job Overview
The Home Products Manager drives sales, distribution, and profitability of home insurance products.
This role involves developing strategies to drive product growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and building market presence for home, fire, and content insurance.
The manager works closely with marketing and product teams to ensure offerings meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales plans to increase product sales.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
- Channel Management: Build and maintain relationships with key distribution partners, including real estate agents, brokers, and direct sales channels.
- Product Knowledge: Serve as a subject matter expert on home insurance products, providing training and support to the sales team and partners.
- Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify customer needs and competitive trends.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, performance analysis, and market insights for senior management.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and smooth policy issuance and claims.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- MBAs are beneficial.
- Minimum 6-8 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the general insurance sector.
- Experience in selling home, property, or related insurance products is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team and achieve business objectives.
