Strategic Distribution Development Manager

About This Role:
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Development Manager to drive our Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) growth strategy and enhance fund visibility across the wealth management landscape. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the Indian AMC or AIF industry and has a proven ability to acquire and manage distribution partnerships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner Onboarding & Growth: Identify, onboard, and nurture strategic relationships with distribution partners to drive AIF product placements.
- Channel Enablement & Training: Conduct regular product training and knowledge sessions to deepen distributor engagement and ensure accurate representation of AIF offerings.
- Fund Promotion & Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop targeted sales campaigns and outreach plans customized for each distributor channel.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an active deal pipeline through CRM tools and track engagement metrics.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years in AMC, AIF, or Wealth Management with strong exposure to distribution-led business models.
- Established relationships with Banks, Private Wealth platforms, RIAs, and top-tier IFAs across key Indian markets.
- Sound knowledge of AIF structures, PMS, mutual funds, and structured products.
- Ability to analyze distributor profile, market penetration, and latest trends to drive strategy and decision-making.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with an ability to inspire confidence across senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA
- V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) and AIF Certification (or ability to acquire within 3 months).
