Logistics Distribution Operations Manager

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with exceptional inventory control skills? We are seeking an experienced Central Distribution Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:- Distribution Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor dispatches to regional warehouses, retail outlets, or customer locations.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, ensuring accuracy in order picking, packing, and shipment.
- Inventory Control & Logistics
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, and store teams for accurate demand forecasting and optimize inventory turnover and storage space utilization.
- Lead and supervise warehouse teams, shift managers, and logistics staff, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Team Coordination & Technology Oversight
- Ensure proper use of Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP, or Distribution Management Systems (DMS) to track orders, dispatches, and returns through automated tools and dashboards.
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports on inventory movement, shrinkage, fulfillment rates, and delivery KPIs, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, and quality standards across warehouse operations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
